Lego Robotics teaches students robotics, engineering concepts, and coding using Lego robotics platform starting with the fundamentals to advanced integrations with Arduino platforms with Lego. Students build a robot and compete using the FIRST Lego League Challenge boards. Check our Sign-up page for details.
Using Lego, students are challenged in competition to build engineering projects based on requirements. Students learn how to understand requirements, build prototypes, and turn ideas into physical products that compete such as bridge designs, egg drops, catapults, and more.
Students start with fundamental concepts and physics and advance to motors and gears and 3D printed parts integrated to their Lego designs.
Students will learn 3D CAD using Autodesk Fusion, Inventor, or another CAD system used by companies in real applications. Students will then be challenged to build, 3D print, and assemble a rocket that can beat their competition. Check our Sign-up page for details.
Students build and code their Lego Battle Bot to demolish the competition in an autonmous challenge that will have their robot utilize complex code to defend, attack, and navigate in a heated 2-minute match. Check our Sign-up page for details.
COMING SOON: Our tinkering club for middle school to high schoolers will allow students to work on custom projects either of their own design or the centers using 3D Printers, CAD, Coding, our new $15K waterjet machine, and more! Students have access to over $50K of software and hardware to tinker with.
